Description

Children and adults who have experienced foster care and adoption can also experience significant wounds of abandonment due to disrupted attachment and frequently the loss of significant caregivers and adults in their life. This training will focus on how these wounds form, how they manifest in behavior in relationships which can be disruptive and lead to further wounding, as well as some key strategies to approach healing abandonment wounds and create new secure patterns to increase healthy relationships and cultivate a sense of belonging in their lives.

  • In order to receive credit for attending this workshop, participants must attend at least 75% of the session. No partial credit will be issued.
