Description

This comprehensive training series prepares early childhood professionals to deliver the Positive Solutions for Families (PSF) curriculum—an evidence-based, user-friendly series designed to help families support their young children’s social and emotional development.

Over the course of eight, two-hour live online sessions (via Zoom), participants will explore each of the seven PSF modules, with a final wrap-up session and planning session. The training emphasizes practical strategies for engaging families, promoting positive behavior, and fostering strong parent-child relationships.

Facilitators-in-training will:

  • Gain a deep understanding of the PSF curriculum and its foundational principles
  • Learn how to deliver each module with fidelity and cultural responsiveness
  • Explore facilitation techniques that promote family engagement and participation
  • Practice using tools and activities that support adult learning and reflection
  • Receive guidance on preparing for implementation in their own settings
