Description

This training will help caregivers become familiar with Maryland’s Child Passenger Safety Laws. Through an interactive discussion, parents will be able to recognize appropriate car seat types for infants and children, including key points of installing a rear-facing car seat. Caregivers will learn the proper harnessing of infants in car seats and receive Child Passenger Safety resources.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Become familiar with Maryland’s Child Passenger Safety Laws.
  2. Recognize appropriate car seat types for infants.
  3. Understand key points of installing a rear-facing car seat.
  4. Learn the proper harnessing of infants in car seats.
  5. Review Child Passenger Safety resources.

Reminders

  • In order to receive credit for attending this workshop, participants must attend at least 75% of the session. No partial credit will be issued.
  • If two or more people are sharing a device and each wants credit:
    • Each must register for the webinar
    • All names must be typed in to the webinar chat at the beginning and again at the end of the webinar
    • Everyone must be visible on camera for the duration of the training
